Freelance Web Developer
Whilst working as a freelancer I have been responsible for my own projects including e-commerce systems and content management systems as well as working with other development teams on a range of projects. During this time I have also learnt a great deal about handling intense workloads and clients, managing my time more efficiently and keeping jobs profitable.
March 2000 to November 2002:
Senior Web Programmer for FMS Design Consultants Ltd
At FMS I deal with all aspects of a web/multimedia project from the initial consultation and planning/costing stages to the building and final support/maintenance stages. I was responsible for various web and multimedia projects for a host of clients including Pearson Education, Oink-Oink.com, and Thorn Lighting Group.
Nov 1997 to March 2000:
Web Programmer for TMS Interactive, part of The Marketing Store Worldwide,Where I worked closely with a team of programmers and designers developing various web and multimedia solutions including websites, intranets, extranets, e-commerce, web-based tools, CD-ROMs, screensavers and online games for Disney, Walkers, Carling, Wacky Warehouse, Carlton Media and Kimberly-Clark.
May 1997 to Oct 1997:
Web Developer for Pentyre plc
Six-month contract planning and building an intranet system to automate all Pentyre's in-house procedures.
Nov 1995 to Oct 1997
Trained as a "Key Member of Staff" for Allied Domeq Inns, Salisbury Arms Pub so that I could manage the pub for short periods.
